The Shamrock, at one time called the Seamroy, symbolises the cross and blessed trinity. Before the Christian era it was a sacred plant of the Druids of Ireland because its leaves formed a triad.

Hours of Operation:

The pub opens daily at 9:00 AM and closes at 2:00 AM nightly. In keeping with Thai customs and traditions alcoholic beverages are not served on certain Thai holidays and holy days during the year.

Located:

We're located basically in the heart of Chiang Mai, in an open-air market of Thai restaurants and small shops called Anusarn Market. Anusarn Market is at the south end of the famous Night Bazaar on Chang Klan road. Please click for a detailed map on the link listed below.

Parking:

For our patrons driving cars, there's usually ample parking in Anusarn's parking facility, two lots, both a couple minutes walk from our pub. Those on motorbikes have parking in front of the pub or very near the pub itself.

On Foot or Taxis:

O'Malley's is easily accessible by public transportation. For out-of-town visitors, taxis are abundant in Chiang Mai. When coming to O'Malley's, refer to Mac Donald's in the Night Bizarre and tell the driver Anusarn's Market and you're here. A typical Tuk-tuk fare ranges from 30 to 60 baht (THB), depending of course on the distance you have to travel. When your ready to leave our Pub, and head back to your home or hotel, after a night of enjoyment, never worry, there's always taxis available throughout the evening and night.
Leprechauns have also become self-appointed guardians of ancient treasure (left by the Danes when they marauded through Ireland), burying it in crocks or pots. This may be one reason why leprechauns tend to avoid contact with humans whom they regard as foolish, flighty (and greedy?) creatures. If caught by a mortal, he will promise great wealth if allowed to go free. He carries two leather pouches. In one there is a silver shilling, a magical coin that returns to the purse each time it is paid out. In the other he carries a gold coin which he uses to try and bribe his way out of difficult situations.

Should you get totally lost, give us a call and we'll get you here!!!
